Ramadhan Tradition in Japan

The month of Ramadan is a month full of blessings that is very much awaited by all Muslims in all corners of the world. One of the activities that must be done by a Muslim during the month of Ramadan is fasting. Fasting is a Muslim worship where one must endure all hunger and lust from the appearance of the sun to the setting of the sun. Not only that, the coming of Ramadan always brings a unique tradition. One of them which is famous in Indonesia is ngabuburit. In addition, the cherry country also has its own traditions that are also different from Indonesia. In a Japanese country where Muslims can be called a minority, they are always compact if the coming of the holy month of Ramadan. In addition, Japan has 4 seasons, affecting the fasting time of Muslims there. For example, during the summer, Muslims in Japan are fasting for 17 hours or 3 hours longer than Indonesia. Because in the summer it is daytime longer than the night. In addition, Muslims in Japan gather at the Japan Islamic Center to form a committee and hold activities during Ramadan. Activities can be in the form of religious discussions, taklim majlis, and others. Besides that, Japan is not like the majority Muslim Indonesia, has an Eid holiday to be able to gather with families.
